Hello guyzz greetings from me!
While i sit ideally and i was thaught about Wireless the first thing which is arrived in my mind is Wi-Fi because we use it most of but there is little lie the first wireless technology is used by us was a 1G – GSM did you remember nokia phone with ‘G’ symbol which means internet connection is on and if you not then you live in heaven you dont know the pain of 19s people by the way its not a point the main agenda of this point is to provide a basic knowledge about Wireless Technology so without wasting time lets begin!!
Here is the main types of Wireless Technology
- 1G – First generation of wireless technology
- 2G – Second generation of wireless technology
- 3G – Third generation of wireless technology
- 4G – Forth generation of wireless technology
- 5G – Fifth generation of wireless technology
Every wireless technology has its own adwantages and dis-advantages like 1G use ‘G’ means GSM then 2G used ‘E’ means EDGE and 3G use ‘H’ means HSPA and obviously 4G use ‘LTE’ means Long term evolution type network 5G is under beta stage right now so i cant give them perfect symbol but as news 5G is arrived with 1Gb-ps speed so prepare your self for lightning fast speed!
Plus diffrent generations has different speed ratio like
- 1G – 2.4Kbps
- 2G – 64Kbps
- 3G – 125Kbps to 2Mbps
- 4G – upto 100Mbps
- 5G – 1Gbps
